long been standard equipment in specialist areas such as urology and anaesthesiology. However, conventional front protection aprons are primarily designed for use in a standing position. During seated interventions, this can lead to increased radiation exposure, particularly in the area of the gonads. This is positioned protectively in front of the gonads while the apron rests on the legs.
